I think it's safe to assume that this game will be a cakewalk for either the reds or the indies if the no-shows continue to hide. Although with presumably half the remaining players being either red or indie, I'm not sure if the game is winnable for the village at all.

With that kind of negative attitude, you might as well just drown yourself in the lake right now.

I agree with the first part and disagree with the second.

Well, I'm back in the office, wearing my Freddy Krueger sweater, so lets get this rolling.
MWB wrote:After rereading the thread, nan is the only one who stuck out at all. He posts just enough to not draw attention. I know he's played like that before when red, but not sure if he always plays like that.
Slash MWB

1) We assume that the new independents could come from the greens and/or the reds
2) That means the reds would know one of theirs got turned, and fear him
3) MWB comes in with his, "I'm only suspicious of NAN, but I don't want to go on record with an actual vote."

Sure, its thin (especially because as we already discussed recruiting a red may knock them down to just one left), but its as good a theory as anything else I've come up with.

I don't like throwing out early votes this late in the game because I think it is too easy for people to jump on the vote and make a quick bandwagon. Discussion is key now, more than ever.

Unless someone has a better explanation.
Reposting this, because I think it's important. Pfidc has said he is independent. Is there a better explanation than the two people joining him? Are the two just on their own?

Undecided. That'd make @ a minimum 1 green, 1 red, 3 indies. 5 RPs out of 11. That'd be a pretty big swing all of a sudden, and if the indies didn't come from existing RP's that percentage is even higher.

In other news, I'm always down with killing the independent (even if he says his powers are gone). But unfortunately I'm not sure the write-up will clue us in as to whether the new recruits joined him, joined each other, or became totally independent contractors.

*As to your other post, votes seem to be the best way of moving conversation forward, otherwise we just tiptoe around the issues. Just my opinion*

Day 6 Vote Count

1 - Doc (MiMH)
1 - MiMH (Gaucho)
1 - MWB (CBear)

It takes 6 votes to slash. I won't be setting any deadline until Monday. Doubt we'll have much action over the weekend.

I'd love to get a vote in today but want to see if people show up and start playing before setting a firm deadline. I guess it's a holiday for some so that could keep participation down. :(

There have been a couple of points in the game MWB has dug in hard against the flow for seemingly little reason and that makes me a little suspect of him. Not sure what to think. But then he's one of the non-lurkers so I'm reluctant to slash him as it will only make the game more quiet.

I really hate to split the vote further, but newarenanow hasn't said a word since the last phase change.

slash newarenanow

Unless they have a compelling reason for their votes I'd urge the ones that voted to switch over with me so we only need a few stragglers to get this phase finished.

If we kill pfidc I think it will tell us if he was joined, because it will say his name.

If we believe gaucho and Dodint, we are at two green. If we believe there was a recruit, we are at two red. Pfidc is independent. Based on what hnut said, it seems that one of the Reds turned independent. So we are at two green, one red, three independent (at least two associated with each other).

I don't believe the two new indies were necessarily green or red, because that would be pretty f***ed up. It would also mean that dodint is indie now. Too easy and too convenient.

In any case, we might as well draw lots.

I imagine that they were blues. But that's pure speculation.

However, if *you* were recruited, you could tell us.
