Whoever is in charge of the referee's and how they are scored/graded have failed miserably this playoff.

I don't get how they can just change how they decide to make calls. That is why the refs have a higher authority who is supposed to call them out if they are not calling the game the right way...It's like Paul Stewart, Devorski and Kerry Fraser out there all over again...

This series is doing a its best to make the NHL look pretty bad with two overly-cautious teams. The "casual fan" isn't going to be too enthralled with this brand of hockey and I'm not exactly sure I'm loving it either. Sort of reminds me of soccer.

Why would anyone bench a lazy floater and half-azz effort player in Sykora? He might go whine to the media about it!

Sykora sux.

I've watched some pretty exciting games involving the Devils this season; that doesn't include games 1 & 2 of this series.

Exactly. I have nothing against the "Devil's style" or LA's but they don't mix well together. Both teams made it further than they obviously ever expected and are playing ultra-safe now that they are in the SC.

Shots are 10-9 after 2 periods. I'm not saying that this is terrible hockey overall, but the SC finals hopefully will not be this wretched again.

Shots are actually 20-15 after two periods. They were 10-9 in the second period.

... but yeah while not awful hockey, both teams are playing pretty safe. Devils are gonna have to open it up though in the 3rd a little bit.

Great saves, lots of good hits, pretty wide open, no shot blocking monotony...great game!
