Don't think I agree with that, but I'd take him or Bruce B if available, if Sully were to happen to get dismissed. I wouldn't mind Quenville either if we are talking not thinking outside the box candidates.

Do Leafs fans usually sound like they are booing during the Star Spangled Banner?

That was the longest and slowest rendition of the Canadian anthem I’ve ever heard.

Saw some Ranger were fans were hoping Sully gets fired so they could hire him. Lol funny how different fan bases view their coaches.

Sullivan would probably be a really good coach for the Rangers. I think his issue with the Penguins is longevity, there is a reason coaches have a shelf life and Sullivan doesn’t coach like someone with something to prove but with no reason to believe he’d be fired. Fresh start with the Rangers where his BS isn’t falling on deaf ears might get them a cup.

It would be so Toronto to finally get out of the first round and then lose to the lowest seeded team in the playoffs.

Six goals, first period in Dallas. Can't root against Seattle.

I’m more worried about his lineup decisions and special teams than his BS. His BS isn’t the issue.

Pretty wild how the Devils could look like world-beaters in Game 7 but absolute garbage tonight.

There's also the emotional let down from the Rangers series. Also Carolina nobody hates. They don't really have any rivals so the series may lack some spark.

Canes rips Devils helmet off. Player has to leave ice. Canes score.

I hate this stupid rule. If it’s really a safety issue blow the play dead. Skating hard to the bench with no helmet is inherently unsafe too.

Funny how the league calls it a penalty if you play without your helmet on but they are OK with Trouba concussing players.

In this year of watching, I come away with an appreciation of the pens playoff decade plus of games.

I like the devils no fear attitude.

Was actually a good move by Hextall getting a 3rd for Blueger. But he blew it all with the Granlund trade.

Hexy made a bunch of really good moves. The Blueger trade was fine.

Unfortunately he made a bunch of bonehead moves too. And those far outweigh the good.

He did get good deals on Letang and Geno. He did sign Rakell.

Then there's McCann, Carter, Kapanen, Granlund... and all kinda things in-between

I'm not sure you can give him credit on Malkin. Word around the campfire was that Hextall didn't want to sign Malkin that ownership pressed him to.

Was still on his watch, so I will extend some credit to Hextall.

Equally, (hypothetically) if he got forced into making say the Carter contract, I would have blamed Hextall. That's how that works.

No Boston, Tampa or Colorado.

I feel like none of the teams left are true Cup caliber teams.

Imagine a Florida/Seattle final? I probably wouldn't even watch it lol.
