Why would they pull their goalie with so much time left in the game?PPenguinsFan66 wrote:Blue Jackets had a 2 goal lead with about 1:45 left. Predators pulled Rinne and scored two goals to tie it and then won it in OT. Well done.

lol, exactly. What would have happened if Omark celebrated like this?Gaucho wrote:Maybe he seemed to be actually aiming at someone?
But don't forget, this is the team that petitioned to run the Swedish ambassador out of the country after Linus Omark totally showed up their 40 year old goaltender.

Different situation: he was emulating shooting a goalie, not a clay pigeon.
I don't think the whole thing is a big deal, but the situations aren't comparable.

it's a big deal if downie illegally left the bench though, right?columbia wrote:I don't think the whole thing is a big deal, but the situations aren't comparable.
i guess the question is whether or not he was already kind of on the ice because of a quasi line change. i'm sure shanahan will see it that way since he doesn't have the balls to suspend him for the 10 games that goddard got last year

Of course it is, but that's not Anisimov's fault.shmenguin wrote:it's a big deal if downie illegally left the bench though, right?columbia wrote:I don't think the whole thing is a big deal, but the situations aren't comparable.

I really don't think Anisimov was "aiming" his piece at anyone.

That anisimov celebration happened a long time ago in the Majors didn't it? I know someone got in trouble for the throat cut awhile back so I'd imagine he has something said to him about this.

This is also the guy who said, when the Devils played the Jets, "They won't boo me. If it wasn't for me, they wouldn't have a team."columbia wrote:I had to rewind it, to make sure I heard this correctly.

Can't believe Parise missed the Penalty Shot to tie the game with under 2 minutes left.
