Huh...I'll have to give them another try. I had one of their Yeti variations (I thought it was some Belgian/stout hybrid) and thought it was OK, but unremarkable. What are the brews to try from them?legame wrote:This.count2infinity wrote:I love Great Divide. Fantastic brewery.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Hercules double IPA is fantastic. Other good ones:
Titan IPA, Old Ruffian, Hibernation Ale, they have a good scotch ale too, can't remember the name though. They have a lot of good stuff, there was a Chocolate one I had from there that was delicious as well. I think it was called Yeti as well.

Whats the canoe paddler like? I quite like Summer Shandy and their Octoberfest was pretty decent too IMO.
I think I'm getting a keg of MagicHat #9 for my wedding

Had Heretic Shallow Grave Porter. Very good. Strong coffee flave, good on the palate.

Just had my first Smuttynose IPA. Awesome beer. It is hoppy, sweet, and a bit fruity all at the same time

Troeg's line of IPAs and ales is awful hard to beat. The perpetual IPA is fantastic as well.

I'm having the Evil Twin Disco Beer for the 3rd period. It's really good--a smooth IPA aged in chardonnay barrels. The chardonnay just adds a hint of fruit taste. Also, it's 10.5%, but you can't taste it.

I haven't been disappointed by anything I've had from Smuttynose. I really liked their pumpkin beer this past fall.shafnutz05 wrote:Just had my first Smuttynose IPA. Awesome beer. It is hoppy, sweet, and a bit fruity all at the same time

Smuttynose has a good IPA.
On a side note, if you ever make it to Hawaii and are one the Big Island, check out Big Island Brewhaus in Waimea and Kona Brewing in Kona. Both are good but the White Mountain Porter at BIB will knock your socks off.

Their stuff was amazing, I really like the golden brugge, the rogue monk and the sour. I'm also a huge fan of the fact that it's right off the bike trail, I envision many post work bike trips there this summer....and subsequently many fun adventures manueveing back through the east end to get home.
