Only NYR is still in a position to sweep, rest of the series are or will be 2-1. And I'm expecting Devils to win this next game.

They're gonna win it all. Scoring just too deep.

Lots of extra hockey to watch today. I like it. Three games and three OTs so far. But I'm not staying up to see if there is a fourth OT.

I don't see them beating Boston. I'm not sure any team will.

So playoff McCann activated. Three ex pens with goals for Seattle, and none of them are McCann.

Sprong skating backwards, fell on his backside skating back on a PP. Led to a shorty too.

Dude has about 7 mins of ice per game, 3 shots and no points.

Some players are weird when it comes to playoff scoring. Not giving them a pass, but, I don't know if it's being able to shut down a particular line in favor of other lines or what. Which is why Sid and Geno had so much success...very hard to stop 2 incredible lines.

Besides McCann, I've been looking at Barkov from Florida. He has no goals in 3 games. He has 6 total playoff goals in 29 career playoff games. That's not enough from your 10M top line center. Everyone in Florida's top 6 has 1 goal except for Barkov. For Seattle, everyone in their top 4 of the 6 players have at least one goal. McCann and Eberle both without one.

Really hope Carolina takes care of the Isles ASAP. The amount of after the whistle skirmishes they start is ridiculous.

Bobrovsky led Panthers on ice for warmups, so it looks like he's starting today. Bad news...no Ekblad in warmups. Makes a much win game that much tougher.

I can't root for the Panthers for the simple reason of how Tkachuk mangles his mouth-guard. Gross.

Their style got them burnt extra crispy today when Martin took an idiotic penalty at the end of the 1st by wiping out 29yr old AHLer MacEachern from behind at the buzzer and taking a 2min roughing that the Canes promptly scored on to start the 2nd and make it 2-0. MacEachern later assisted on a 2-on-1 Aho goal and then scored himself.

Isles did manage to inflict one injury on the Canes to keep that streak alive when Pulock boarded Jack Drury face first into the boards early in the 1st, likely concussion. Called a 5 and then video reviewed down to a 2 seemingly because Drury turned slightly before the hit.

Gross is Carolina's Puljujravi licking his nostrils while sitting on the bench, something he does quite often and that the Bally Sports camera seems to always capture and show.

If these playoffs show anything, half these pens would be on IR after the first period of the first game. It is just brutal out there and this team would just be destroyed physically

Yep. Speed is still critical to the game, but the Just Play mantra with a bunch of 5'10" guys isn't going to work to well in the playoffs.

I'll use Florida as an example...Tkachuk, Bennett, Lomberg, and Gudas are just flat out built for playoff hockey, and the Panthers traded for the 1st two guys.

The Penguins need to add 2-3 forwards up front that can play a hard game without skating in cement or unable to beat a shooter tutor. They tried to build that on the backend, and I think they just added size. I don't see much "nastiness" from Rutta and Petry.

If Sullivan and the new GM don't see that, this team will be golfing again next year.

BOS-FLA and CAR-NYI both at 3-1. I'm expecting 4-1 in both series next. The wild card teams can't hang with the top seeds and Pens would have mismatched even worse in their stead.

DAL-MIN and EDM-LAK tied at 2. Flip a coin for those, I'd still go with the Wild and the Oil.

Predicting TOR, NYR, COL and VGK, though I'd want the other team to win instead for all of those.

NJ beats the Rags at MSG again to tie series up at 2-2. Goaltending change and team looking a lot more composed.

Tampa just blew a 4-1 lead in the 3rd. Tied at 4. Vasilevsky hasn't been great all season.
