Anyways final score 7-4. Nice to see a team we made look like worldbeaters gave up seven goals againist the freaking isles (though I do know it's only one game and the guy in net tonight for the Leafs wasn't in net for them last night).

Re: Other NHL games
Flyers win and look decent (hard work, full-team effort) doing it. First win over the Rangers in like two years. Well, that throws a damper on my night.
Their decimated lineup forced them to simplify their game tonight. We'll see if it holds.

Like I said above, it's only one game and losing Hartnell for a long period of time is a huge loss for that team.Lt. Dish wrote:Flyers win and look decent (hard work, full-team effort) doing it. First win over the Rangers in like two years. Well, that throws a damper on my night.

Re: Other NHL games
Nice slew o penalties, Smid:
2 for instigating
2 for instigating with a visor
5 for fighting
10 minute misconduct
All this after he had already cross checked Dustin Brown and smothered the puck in the first 10 minutes.

Looks like he could possibly be suspended for that, as well.PghSkins wrote:Nice slew o penalties, Smid:

Re: Other NHL games
Incredible penalty killing, someone's been on the PP all but like 4 min of the 1st period, each team a long 5 on 3, and still 0-0.

Blue Jackets still down 2-0. Should be 5 or 6-0 if not for BOBROVSKY

I'm obviously not in game shape yet this year. Was flipping back and forth between Caps-Habs and Canes-Sabres and fell asleep during the first intermission.

Hey Quick, quit moaning, didn't you watch the Pens game?
Well, I guess it worked.
Bah, I don't agree with that call.
