columbia's overall reaction strikes me as being very suspicious. Referring to "the village," which, if he's to be believed, he is now a part of, is perhaps a slip. Just overall strikes me as a person who got sniped by a possibly questionable move by the seer and is sort of having that "oh come on" kind of reaction because he can't believe a seemingly good plan got foiled.

I'd like to say killing columbia is guaranteed to answer some questions, but if he comes back as a blue subconscious projection, we're no where. Nonetheless...

Day 2

From the high-rise office building, the Extraction Team plotted their next move.



"I wasn't able to get anywhere, his identity did not work on the subconscious," Eames explained out of breath.

Cobb was annoyed. Both of his teammates had let him down, Arthur first, and now Eames, who was an EXPERT IN FORGING DIFFERENT IDENTITIES.

"Without the Assassin's identity, how the hell are we going to get the expansion plans now?" Arthur aggressively asked.

"Well I'm working on that one," Eames retorted, knowing that he had messed up big time.

"We still have time," Cobb played the optimist.

There was an explosion and commotion below. Arthur ran to the window.

"You were followed, and now we're trapped," Arthur stated, grabbing his handgun.

The clamoring of an angry subconcious stormed the building.

"The subconcious is aware of this dream level, meaning we have to go deeper," Cobb explained. Cobb motioned for his team to join him.

High-rise Office Lobby

The subconscious projections stormed the building. Lead by a militarized Security Agent, Sam's Drunk Dog, they quickly ascended the stairwell, to floor 13. They kicked down the door, to a lavishly decorated office.

There was only one person in the office, columbia.

columbia was wearing a suit, tie, and looked fresh from an easy day at the office. The Security Agent paused for a minute. He had been wrong, the team wasn't here.

columbia threw his hands up. "What is the meaning of - " but before columbia could finish, three gunshots rang out, and the glass window behind him shattered.

The Security Agent ran to the window, seeing two figures from across the street fleeing the scene. It was too late, they would get away well before he could capture them.

A projection kneeled down next to columbia's body. He checked for a pulse. "He's gone," came an emotionless response. Slowly columbia's face began to shift to

Night 3

Dom Cobb screwed the silencer onto his pistol. He looked down below, seeing count2infinity walking towards the entrance to a lavishly decorated hotel.

count2infinity stopped, as Cobb slipped into the shadows of the entry way balcony. His gaze turned upwards towards Cobb's position.

"Dammit," Cobb muttered to himself. count2infinity bolted for the entrance, and made it into the hotel, as Cobb pursued, gun drawn.

Cobb made haste after him, entering the hotel. count2infinity frantically hit the elevator button. With the gun raised, Cobb prepared to fire, but was suddenly struck on the back of the head. count2infinity made his escape as Cobb turned to see his assailant. The assailant knocked Cobb to the ground with a steel beam.

Spoiler:

The assailant closed in on Cobb. Suddenly...Arthur ducked out from behind a wall, attacking the assailant, grabbing Cobb and escaping, as the assailant laid stunned.



Gunfire erupted from both sides, as the Extraction Team escaped the hotel lobby. They hopped into a van making their escape.

It is now Day 3

With 17 remaining it will take 9 to vanquish.

I feel pretty good about a canaan vote. I know SDD was saying we should look at people protecting columbia, but I think the reds saw no way that SDD and the village would sniff out columbia so quickly but expected that he would eventually be killed because of lingering suspicions. I think we should be looking at those who led against columbia. canaan did so with an atypically long post, which contained logic I still don't really follow -- the whole "red role claims vig" gambit discussion.
