This. Madden is at leat a little witty and entertaining. I enjoy listening to him. Poni just has a whiney voice, and like someone else said, in the 1% chance that I agree with him, I find myself turning against my own opinion because of him.Letang Is The Truth wrote:i like to listen to madden. i cannot listen to poni

I did. The only time I listen to him was pre game Pitt BB when he is on with JP1. And the only reason I listen to that is because I think Page is actually pretty interesting to listen to.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:For anyone still listening to Poni, maybe if you stop listening to him he'll go away.

You'll have to ask that guy who always calls in and claims to be friends with Jim Nantz and knows how much CBS pays Cowher and how much Nantz makes for golf and that Hines Ward is staying out of football because Jim Nantz told him how much he got offered for an analyst positionLetang Is The Truth wrote:How much does giannotti make

Re: The Official LGP Pittsburgh Sport Radio Thread
Could you possibly give a ball-park figure then? Something I was curious as wellNed Braden wrote:
I'd imagine it depends on a ton of factors : what station, what time show is on, how much in demand, etc... I'd also imagine the most $ goes to those that "hustle" (appear on radio, tv, newspaper, etc) rather than just on 1 radio show. Ex. Ron Cook makes more than Josh Miller (for obvious reasons, multiple forms of income).
Still no clue what a ball park figure would be

Ron Cooke often enjoys pointing out that Richichi is the highest paid on the station.

Giannotti looks like a chipmonk who got stung in the face by a bumble bee. His head is so huge.

The Jim Colony reads an athletes tweet segment is probably the worst thing I ever heard on the radio.Streaks House wrote:5:40AM-10AM: Jim Colony, Paul Alexander, and Gregg Giannotticolumbia wrote:Who hosts the pre-10 AM show on da Fan?

i love getting to hear the pre-show warmup for the morning show on the fan. they talk like normal people and it entertaining to listen to, imo.
...and then the show starts.
