it seemed like at the start of the pd the pens had pulled it together put that last goal they faultered a little. Still one goal up hold tight and hang on the last 14 mins are going to be tough.

Apparently it doesn't last. Either that or Kovy has no endurance.
Threaten him again. Maybe he's our version of Ryan Malone.

Actually I was just going to point out one of the laziest moves by Ryan Malone I've ever seen.

Yes.....that was him standing still four feet from Forsberg, waiting for Peter Forsberg of all people, to miss the puck along the boards. It is an absolute disgrace that Malone is given a spot on the 1st line.

Good idea. Hey Kovy, ever been to Wilkes-Barre? It's far away from your girl Dagny. You don't want to go there.

Was that Whitney leveling Richards?

Credit to him for doing so, but he should really try to avoid knocking them into his goalie in the future.

Leave her with me, I'll take care of her (as long as she is 18 years or older)

Can't just blast him. There were at least two Pens right there. The other one might have been Sid. Maybe it was a simple miscommunication, but you can't just blast one guy and let the other guy off the hook.

I've been a staunch Malone supporter but its obvious that his spot is on the 3rd line on a good team. I think a line with Malone-EC-Army would be a great 3rd line, if we had the talent to fill the top two lines.

I definitely think Shero will be looking for a wing to play with Crosby and Recchi. Malone looks lost out there sometimes.

No, Malone's proper spot is on a 2nd line. But I'm not willing to break up Staalkin, and Mango had his chance with Sid.

I'm all for the Pens being more physical around their net, but they really need to stop knocking opponents into Fleury.

He can't play 2nd line because hes a left wing. Hes not effective when he has to play his off wing. I don't want to move Staal off of the LW either because it looks as though he is getting comfortable there.

Having a good 3rd line that can cycle an chip in goals on a semi-regular basis, which is what EC/Colby/Malone can do, is needed to win. All three players would be in their natural positions too. Also, he will be getting time on the PK and 2nd unit power play. Plenty of minutes on this team available to him, just not the minutes hes getting now.
