Tough weekend. Difficult to listen to the "national" media.

Let's go pens!

Pretty sure that Friedman and Bemstrom are the only guys to wear #52 in Pens history.
What an insult to Rusty Fitzgerald

Good early effort, looked like they were ready to play from the opening whistle.Got to loose pucks and checked well.
Bunting had a good period, will get a lot of chances with his speed and tenacity.
Ned had a couple of good stops, wasn't giving them much to shoot at.
Puljujarvi with a strong Period,he was the best forward out there IMHO.
Bruins were starting to get their legs late, would expect a lot of pressure ahead.Pens have to forecheck and not get lazy passes from the Defensejen.

Wow….. PK ripping Pens management. Can’t really argue with his logic of this organization being mismanaged. I hope Jake wanted to leave and it was not just the Pens being a mess

PK isn’t wrong, Dubas failed in firing Sullivan in December to see if a better coach not stuck in 2016 could get more out of this roster. If this team had competent coaching we are easily in the top three fighting for seeding with the Canes and Rags and then keeping Jake would be a no brainer and you certainly at least wouldn’t be subtracting from the roster. a 29 year old UFA who is your 2nd best player is the kind of guy a good team extends for 8 years close to the current maximum if it even takes that much.

Dubas has been underwhelming.

Breakdown in the Defensive Zone Coverage.
Graves goes to no one behind the net, then screens Ned.

Thats not holding. At no point does a free hand impede Marchand. Horrible call.

Dubas definitely made bad decisions with the roster.Didn't make the necessary Coaching change when it was still a season that had a chance get a Playoff Spot.

Jake wanted to be here and that should have been handled before it got to him being dealt.

That falls on Dubas and every other GM as much as Sully. If you don’t want Sullivan to play the garbage player don’t have him on the roster.

Pre season, it was nice to see him move Petry, Granlund, Ruuta and DeSmith, and who would have ever thought Reilly Smith would stink. Ryan Graves had good numbers in Jersey, but that was an illusion. Hey, Jake’s a free agent in 12 weeks.
