A couple of oddities from Carolina there, Anthony Stewart is common street trash but Kevin Westgarth would make a better janitor...surprised they'd give up 2 picks (albeit late ones) to make the deal happen...I could understand paying Philly to take on Boucher...but I haven't quite wrapped my head around the Westgarth move yet...he's an enforcer that can't enforce in the same way that he's a hockey player that can't hockey...or something like that...

Cam Barker has been one of the worst players in the league since he's come in...he got a 25-game PTO in Texas (AHL) and watched him a number of times and he was quite awful...I'm kind of surprised that he even got an NHL deal at this point. One of the softest players I've seen...

I wonder if Vancouver found a dance partner for Keith Ballard, otherwise, I can't really explain the signing...

When you watch him, in retrospect, it is hard to believe...but sometimes you have to take a chance on a player like that...it was understandable at the time, but now looks like a complete lol-fest...

Decent trade by LA. At least Stewart can take a regular shift on a fourth line and chip in the occasional goal. Good to see the hot stove back!
