The only website they let the folks from Western Psych visit is Bob Smizik's blog.

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
If the Pirates moved to the Fan, that would wipe out Filliponi's show for the most part since he's usually from 6-10. I'd be fine with that.

Hopefully that sends Filliponi packing. Just God awful. But he's a New Yorker and their PD likes that kind of "angle" so watch Mueller be the one who goes. ![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
The NFL did claim that they would discipline NFL players pending league review for lockout behavior once the lockout ended.Troy Loney wrote:Letang Is The Truth wrote:lol troy is in disbelief no one wants to call to talk to him
I called into him a couple weeks ago when he was doing the "goodell is a hypocrite, why didn't he suspend so and so". He was reading off the indiscretions from Talib and Britt and asking why they didn't get suspended. I called in just to say that Goodell stated that he wasn't going back to suspend for any incidents that took place during the lockout. He said that wasn't true, and took some comment from Goodell out of context, saying that he was going to go back and suspend players.
Am I right..didn't Goodell say that he's not suspending any player for anythign that took place during the lockout?

They'd just have him and Giannatti on the morning show. With Paul Alexander.jimjom wrote:Best move the Pirates ever made then!schreibdog wrote:If the Pirates moved to the Fan, that would wipe out Filliponi's show for the most part since he's usually from 6-10. I'd be fine with that.

He's not a "New Yorker." He's a Buffalonian. Picksburgh is closer to NYC than Buffalo is. He is way too unpolished to be a "New Yorker."PensOnDVD wrote:Hopefully that sends Filliponi packing. Although the speech impeded "Mad Dog" is a New Yorker, so.....

You know... I don't hate Vinnie anymore. He's just that fun loving uncle that rarely if ever knows what he's talking about but is entertaining. I cannot stand Cook though. He shouldn't be on radio.

I go back and forth on how I feel about Vinne, some days I enjoy him others not so much. Can't say the same about Cook though, I can't stand him.Pavel Bure wrote:You know... Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
What HCDB said:
He has two plans to play with or without Sid
Lots of overload on the PP, no stationary positions, different players will play different positions in game and game to game.
On the PP look for Malkin to tote the puck up ice ala sarge used to do.
And Vinny asked him if he still had his hat from the winter classic :face:

I like to read that. Aggressive Geno can gain the zone better than most. Anything to stop the dumps lol and hard-arounds lol2.viva la ben wrote:On the PP look for Malkin to tote the puck up ice ala sarge used to do.

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
Hmmmm wonder if it'd be nuts to try something different on the 1st PP of the game. Put Cooke, Kunitz, Asham, Adams, Neal, Park out there, have one of the d-men come up, dump in, and tell whatever 3 that are out there to not worry about the puck and just punish the guys going back for the full 2 mins. I don't mean peel off if the d-man moves the puck quickly, I mean just crush them no matter what (obviously if it's gonna be super late then don't, but if you're gonna get there a second late lay the hit) Yeah you pretty much waste the 1st PP but you set the tone for the rest of the PPs in the game and most likely make their D gun-shy about being out there. Yes I'm insane.Eismann wrote:I like to read that. Aggressive Geno can gain the zone better than most. If they played 5 D on the PP they'd never give up a SH goal!

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
First time listening in months, on lunch, and I decided to give it another chance.
I just so happened to get to listen to a caller ask Miller and other guy if Crosby should get a surgery that could put more padding in his brain. Immediately turned it off.
