He was on 1250 in the afternoons (before the axe fell on everyone) and maybe went to the Trib radio after that.
Though I think he got fired there also.
some moron caller yesterday said that Urban Meyer is waiting for joepa to retire/die because UPS is Meyers dream job. he also mentioned that meyer quit at florida not because of health issues, but because he didnt like the way things were going at florida or something like that. he said it in a way that implied florida ran a crooked program and meyer wants to go somewhere with a clean program.
that doesnt top the guy who wanted the pirates to trade for prince fielder, and was sincere about it.
the real problem with these callers is that unlike Madden, most guys on the fan wont call you an idiot when you say idiotic things.
The day of the Steelers-Eagles pre-season game, Vinnie asked if the PA at Heinz Field would play "Who let the Dogs Out" when Vick came out for his first series. Stupid callers calling stupid hosts.
I find it funny that Seibel, Starkey and Miller always playback or air an interview at 3:00 to combat the beginning of Mark Madden's show, even though I'm pretty sure Mark's off today.

I actually think that would have been amusing, if extremely unprofessional and in bad taste.
I don't like Chris Mack at all, but he's nowhere NEAR the level of bad as Filliponi was.
I think some of the hate towards Mack was for some reason ESPN1250 tried to force him into shows that were so much better without him. Really? They thought Stan and Guy Show was < Stan, Guy, and Chris Mack Show? Even The Drive it seemed like Mack was an awkward "squeeze-in." He never really had his own show or place there, it kind of had the feel of "This is 'so-and-so's nephew, we need to fit him in somewhere!"

You can't possibly mean the segment right? Karaoke Russ the baffoon that calls in is fairly entertaining, but the Gianotti and Alexander's d-bagginess is highlighten during that segment.
i think hes great. i love that guy. i hope he does well. it annoys me that for the first few segments alexander was like OOOO MY DAUGHTERRRRRRR AMERICAN IDOL and she made it like an extra cut than he did. shes a loser just like her loser dad

lol, he was bragging that his daughter made it further than Russ? Karaoke Russ is the doing this as a joke....atleast I hope he is, you have to try to be as bad as he is.
I'm surprised Pat Bostick didn't quit halfway through the Pitt broadcast yesterday, seeing as he's abandoned his team so many times before, ip to and including not playing this year.
Agreed Bowser. IIRC, Bostick was a pretty highly recruited QB coming out of high school. After he beat Notre Dame in 2008, I thought that his performance would be enough to garner the opportunity to showcase his talents further, but that never really happened.
Being forced to be in the same press box as Bill Hillgrove would make me want to quit. How did Bostick do as a color guy last night?
