This is probably the beginning of his surge towards redefining the powerforward position. We're going back to the 80s and 90s power forward glory. 40 goals or bust!

All kidding aside, I hope he succeeds. Was it a nice goal?

Short-side softie, he looked like he was skating in mud and was aiding by a pretty hefty slash. But congrats Big Dog.slappybrown wrote:All kidding aside, I hope he succeeds. Was it a nice goal?

Yeah, definitely soft by Lindback but not a bad shot by Tangradi either. Good quick release, and lots of velocity on the puck. Better than most of the shots he took with the Pens.pfim wrote:Short-side softie, he looked like he was skating in mud and was aiding by a pretty hefty slash. When I watched the video, I half expected it to bounce off about 4 players before slowly trickling across the goal line. More Tangradi, any goal is a good goal. Bad goal for Lindback to give up.

Good on him for scoring, but he still played 4 and a half minutes last night. He's become the least trusted and least used forward on a crap team.

So you're saying Tangradi will single-handedly match the goal production of our entire 4th line? Way to go, RS.Froggy wrote:the 1st of probably 2 or 3 goals he'll score this year. floodgates!!!

Re: Tangradi traded to Winnipeg for 7th round pick
well, tanner glass didn't start the season playing with the reining MVP, and then a few games later was traded for pretty much the least you can get for a player, so my expectations are a bit skewed...

Re: Tangradi traded to Winnipeg for 7th round pick
Actually, Glass has played with Malkin-Neal 1.13% of the time, while Tangradi played with Malkin-Neal 1.71%... hardly a difference to trade beans about. Just for comparison, Kennedy has played with Malkin-Neal almost as much as Glass and Tangradi combined (2.76%).
Of course, Jeffrey has still been the most productive of all Malkin-Neal's linemates to date, while playing 2nd least... and he sits in the stands...

Totally agree with this. I guess if his name was something like Dustin Netting or Dustin Zamboni he would be playing over Glass.pcm wrote:Actually, Glass has played with Malkin-Neal 1.13% of the time, while Tangradi played with Malkin-Neal 1.71%... hardly a difference to trade beans about. Yes he is a turd, but we currently ice about 2 or 3 turds per game. The TPG ratio of this team is fairly high.

Hey Tangradi, eat it. Boychuk scores in his first game for Nashville. Good job Zack. He was being held back by Malkin and Neal, told you
