Yes. Called it a "predatory hit" and commented that Brooks never answers the bell. Although I never saw a Ranger want to fight him... so I don't really know why THAT even came to mind.

Primary contact was Boyle's head. So in today's NHL, it was illegal. But elbow was down, I think he stayed on his feet (although they claim no).... Regular season, today's NHL worth a couple of games. Playoffs? Good hockey hit (NHL wheels of justice logic).

Boyle had his head pretty low- from that angle, it wasn't much above the top of the boards. I hate the notion that if you deliver a big hit, you need to fight. Did Milbury whine and cry OVie didn't fight when he destroyed McDonough? Did he say THAT was predatory?
