A Carol for Beth tradeoff would suck enormously.

I thought it was a good ep. Kind of tied some loose ends together from a Carol POV.

I assume this is in regards to the van?the wicked child wrote:And we have a new candidate for least believable moment in the show.
I agree. When I saw it hit the ground my first thought was MAJOR spinal injuries. I do, however, wish there were more raining zombies.

Yes. Raining zombies was cool... But man alive was everything else about that unbelievable. Even for a show about a zombie apocalypse.PensFanInDC wrote:I assume this is in regards to the van?the wicked child wrote:And we have a new candidate for least believable moment in the show.

At best they would be 2-3 inches shorter. That van hit the ground flat and with authority.

Well he did say "even in a show about a zombie apocalypse."columbia wrote:More so than zombies existing?the wicked child wrote:And we have a new candidate for least believable moment in the show.
I also think surviving that fall with virtually no damage is probably less likely than a zombie apocalypse.

Re: The Walking Dead
2 more episodes until the mid season finale? So does that mean two more hospital episodes? I am cool with the side episodes. I like seeing people out on their own in different parts of the world. That said, the whole hospital and cops thing is not the greatest...but I suppose they are just building out a big fight scene where maybe at the end more people join the group so we can continue on to the next part of the season and have more people to get killed.

Re: The Walking Dead
I'm thinking next week is a continuation of when Darryl shows back up at the church with gimpy dude. They plot and scheme, head out for Atlanta, make it to the hospital, end episode (some carl/reverend stuff thrown in).
Next episode is 1/2 Carol/Beth at hospital, 1/2 breaking them out.

carol and beth are in the next episode. it's in the preview. so next week will be what you described + some hospital scenes. the finale should be 100% heist with a smattering of carl/team abrahamPensFanInDC wrote:I'm thinking next week is a continuation of when Darryl shows back up at the church with gimpy dude. Re: The Walking Dead
I thought all we saw of beth and carol was beth looking at carol in a bed. That could easily be the last shot of the episode.
Anything in the preview could be from the next 2 episodes as well.

and they've never done a 2-episode leap in the previews like that. would be a funny time to start.

We know there is a "Kill Daryl we riot" groupGaucho wrote:the wicked child wrote:A Carol for Beth tradeoff would suck enormously.
There is a "Kill Carol we riot" group forming
Rick carries the show...mainly kept emotionally in check by Carl...who both carry the comic as well.
Michonne has not been featured much but is a fan favorite and may cause rioting if she dies.
Will they kill Tyrese...another lead black male character?
Noah is new and maybe part of the reason the group ends up deciding to go to DC.
Some of those are stretches, but those not on this list better be careful for sure. Haha. Of course, anything can happen, but people are going to die at some point....who will it be? I have a few fears from the way the comic took things...but this path is completely separate from the comic right now and the show has swapped different character deaths (Bob was actually another characters death...who died way earlier....Hershel took someone else's death as well and that person is still alive in the TV show)

I couldn't wrap my head around the van slowly diving front first off a bridge and somehow landing on all four tires simultaneously. Definitely would've flipped and landed on its roof.PensFanInDC wrote:I assume this is in regards to the van?the wicked child wrote:And we have a new candidate for least believable moment in the show.

That said, I enjoyed this episode. I'm really happy with the structure used to slow-down the storytelling. Reminds me of LOST, in a way. Remember how angry everyone was when they took time away from the "main group" to focus on the tailies?

Re: The Walking Dead
Then you look where the van landed...and they even included a shot of the overpass above it...and then you go "What in the ...?:
But then again, it is a show about a zombie apocalypse, so there should be some suspension of disbelief.

The suspension of disbelief is at work when you accept that there was a zombie apocalpyse. Within that framwork, you should make an effort to stay credible. That said, the scene didn't really bother me. Not much anyway.

This. The first 3 episodes were awesome... now they're dragging out the rescue of the least interesting character on the show. Frustrating.DelPen wrote:I'm so bored with this.

Can't wait to see the priest run around avoiding zombies next week until he probably leads them back to the church and has to kill one finally to save Judith. So exciting.
Maybe Dawn can capture Daryl and make him fight Carol to the death and leave on a cliff hanger?

Re: The Walking Dead
That wasn't good. Filler filler and more filler.
Also, I just now realized how bad the actress who plays Beth is.
