You be quiet.
Brooks Laich is the only Cap in the last several years I can deal with. Good player, hard worker, team guy, leader. I wholeheartedly agree he should be the captain of the team as soon as he returns from IR, even thought that could make them better (I'm enjoying their fall this season).

Take the hockey aspect out of it for a second, Brooks Leich won my respect when he saw someone stranded on the side of the road and pull over so he help change their flat tire. That won my respect because in todays world where you really can't trust anyone it takes a set a cajones to do something like that. But yes good player and team leader as well, he can play on my team any day of the week.

I remember that--really cemented his rep as a good character guy. I have no idea if he can play wing or if he'd be willing to be a 3rd line C, but if so, then I'd take him, too.
I don't know why, but I really enjoy watching the Blue Jackets. I always find myself tuning to their games. I find myself doing it with a few teams though. The only team I think I watch more than the Pens and Caps, are the Jets. I love the Jets line of Wheeler-Little-Ladd and really like what Byfuglien and Enstrom (when healthy) bring. They're an exciting team to watch. I wouldn't say I really root for the Jets or Blue Jackets, but they both typically play some decent hard-working hockey.
I'm watching Blue Jackets/Wings right now. Really good game.
The one thing the Jackets have for them is pride and/or work ethic. Sometimes the effort isn't there, but when they win, it's a huge part of why they win.
