At 65 pages, this thread is just one page behind the Obama-Biden vs. McCain-Palin thread.
Personally, I'd like to see this thread end at 66 pages.

A guy on my softball team is a Red Wings fan. he said he's hearing rumors that Hossa will wear number 87 since 18 is taken.
he even said that NHL.com had a little gaffe with the jersey up for a bit.

He wishes he was 87.
If that's true, I really hope he breaks in half.

Hossa adjusts
It's not bad being Marian Hossa these days.
In the past six months, the speedy winger has had the opportunity to play with arguably the two most creative centres in hockey in Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby and his new pivot man in Detroit Pavel Datsyuk
"They're different players," Hossa said in comparing the two. "Sidney is more a skater and Pavel is more a playmaker."
Hossa has also found Datsyuk the more unpredictable of the two. The 29-year-old Slovak star admits he's quickly learned not to try and anticipate, just be ready to react when riding shotgun with Datsyuk.
"He's a great passer," Hossa said.
"He always gets the puck to you. You just have to make sure you get open.
"You don't even have to say anything, he sees you even when you're behind him. "Basically, you just get ready for the shot."

it's amazing how some on there call crosby overrated. WHAT? it's also amazing to me that datysuk was invisible in the finals while zetterberg completely took over yet some suggest datysuk is better than crosby hands down.
i need to not go to those sites, because i always end with a migraine.

Let's just clear up the rankings here:
1. Marian Hossa
2. Marian Hossa <-- he gets two spots
3. Zetterberg
4. Datsyuk
5. The rest of the Red Wings roster
6. AO
7. Crosby
Now let's jut all accept that and move on.
