SiriusXM bought the rights to air the entire catalog of Car Talk, and the SXM channel runs three episodes every day. I'm usually listening from three to six. It doesn't get old. RIP.

Nice. I was going to double check and see if it is available as a podcast download somewhere. I'd like to have a few episodes as they're pretty great. My wife and I used to drive around listening to them on Sunday mornings.

It's on SXM Public Radio, which is channel 121 on XM. Three episodes from 3 to 6 p.m. eastern, with the same three repeated from 9 p.m. to midnight. They're currently somewhere in 2006.

RIP Raphael Ravenscroft, best known for his superb saxophone solo on Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street.

I can't stand that song because of that sax solo. No denying he has a cool name, but man alive was that a terrible song.

Give me the smooth sounds of Steve Gregory on Careless whisper any day over that song.

I was going to post that (sergio) as a strange tribute to Raph, it's one of the best videos ever.

I'll post this amazing picture of Edward Mahoney instead

Robin Williams' autopsy results are in. No trace of drugs or alcohol in his system. He was clean. That somehow makes it worse.

I think it's better that way. Really illustrates how powerfully bad depression is even before you heap on mind altering substances.

WWII veteran Justus Belfield, 98, spent his last full day on earth in his WWII army uniform, lying in bed at a rehabilitation center in Scotia with his wife Lillian in her own bed next to him. The center staff snapped the image below of his salute on Tuesday. He passed early this morning. We salute him for his service.
