Lord listening to vinnie try and stumble his way through talking about the game last night is just brutal. Somehow more if Cook was the with him. Either learn what ur talking about, or learn to just speak correctly before you do a radio show. Neither is not an option.

Vinnie is awful and only knows what he is talking about if the subject us pre-1970's baseball.
I've tried to give this station a shot but other than the morning show there is not much entertainment on this station for me.

I basically only like Gianatti and Josh Miller, outside of that, meh.Goalie wrote:Vinnie is awful and only knows what he is talking about if the subject us pre-1970's baseball.

Vinnie needs to go, and Cook God he hates life as a whole.
On a lighter note... Tom Grimm did a decent show on the Pens that he called "The Penalty Box" I still hate him though.

Well I'm in a mood.
I turn on V and C today for the first time in months. No C.
V is talking the Miami coach; says repeatedly he knows nothing about him and after reciting every score from this past seasons Miami game's he says maybe Ben knows something.
He then reiterates that he knows little about the guy. By this time, I'm listening just to see how deep he can dig the hole (a character flaw of mine) and sure enough he continues to say more and more about less and less re. Haywood until - as the old saying goes - he's saying everything about nothing.
Seems like a nice guy though. Merry Christmas, I'll be able to pick up Stan on the internet.

Why did they bring this idiot Vinnie to pittsburgh? Why is this guy on the radio, he's terrible and brings nothing to the table.

A program director who knows nothing about sports or Pittsburgh thinks, "Hey, this guy is a real character."Troy Loney wrote:Why did they bring this idiot Vinnie to pittsburgh? Why is this guy on the radio, he's terrible and brings nothing to the table.

That's pretty perceptive because you nailed that part . . . yet, it seems the station is still catching on . . .Marshall Dylan wrote:A program director who knows nothing about sports or Pittsburgh ...Troy Loney wrote:Why did they bring this idiot Vinnie to pittsburgh? This morning I am changing my tune. I'm starting to enjoy the penalty box more. Dude's voice still annoys me but he's got some good things to say.PghSkins wrote:The content was good IF YOU CAN GET PAST THE FACT THAT HE DOES IT ALL WHILE YELLING.Pavel Bure wrote:Vinnie needs to go, and Cook God he hates life as a whole.

I listened to Seibel on the Fan on the drive home. He was positively giddy over the fact that the game might not be played.
He was saying stuff like, "How will you feel to see Sid skating in pools of water? How mad will you be when the game is played in Feb in Consol and you cant get in?"
I was driving and could not get through. I called him an *ss in a text. He was all about panicking people.

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
Man, he was awful today. Since Madden wasn't on a turned to that and heard them mention the WC. I kept it on hoping to hear something insightful abuot the backup plans or some optimism to raise my spirts about the weekend from callers. What I got was a bunch of fear mongering. He was basically mocking anyone who paid over face value for their tickets and like jamespensfan said, like he was hoping it would be moved to the CEC and people would be out of money. I guess some caller told him he paid over $400 over face for his tickets and Seibal wouldn't shut up about it, he was stunned. I wouldn't have done it, I paid about 150 over for mine, and I'm perfectly fine with that. But he needs to realize people either A: have that kinda money to spend, or B: This event means alot to them that they are willing to part with it. IF this thing gets screwed up and cancelled, I'd be way more dissapointed in not geting to go than losing out on my money.

You know how Madden says things to piss off Steelers fans and ridicule their devotion?
Take that shoe and put it on the other foot.
It's just talk show cage rattling at its cheapest.

A lot of national heads don't. Seibel's not national anymore, so the pitchfork prodding for the locals isn't so surprising.Malkamaniac wrote:I don't think I've ever heard anyone in the media not try to sell fear.
