Re: TV Shows
Oh, I watch every ep. I'm just amazed at how amateur it all feels. It definitely reminds me of a show on CW or Syfy.

Beating a dead horse, but I'd watch it and be entertained if I hadn't read the book. My parents love the show.

Re: TV Shows
Vince Vaughn rumored for True Detective Season 2?

I actually like the idea of Vaughn in this type of role. He would make a good villain, IMO.

I read the book after watching season 1. I think that helped me separate the two.dodint wrote:Beating a dead horse, but I'd watch it and be entertained if I hadn't read the book. My parents love the show.

There's a free cinemax preview this weekend. They might've merged hbogo and maxgo?

Giada has been whoring it up the past month or so on Food Network Star.
I'm glad won, out of the final 3 he would have the show that would be most interesting to watch.
I'm glad

Re: TV Shows
I decided not to watch FNS this time. After Justin largely fell off the face of the earth and that abomination of a pilot won last year, I just couldn't take any more. I'm also still annoyed about Aarti winning her season.

Re: TV Shows
Aarti is really annoying. Not sure what happened with Justin, I really enjoyed him and his show idea seemed interesting, but I think I've only seen it one once or twice.

Re: TV Shows
They set up Justin as possibly being the successor to Good Eats. People ate it up, and then... nothing. Other than some token appearances as a judge on shows such as Beat Bobby Flay (which I really enjoy, btw. Best new show on the FN in some time IMO), never see him.

Beat bobby flay isn't really new. It's pretty much a reboot of thrown down

Fine. "New". And it's still way more enjoyable than most the crap they've been trotting out.Letang Is The Truth wrote:Beat bobby flay isn't really new. It's pretty much a reboot of thrown down

You know, I always thought that would make a good show, but they found a way to ruin it. ;)shmenguin wrote:you mean you don't want to see the guy from Run DMC make dinner for people you don't care about?

Re: TV Shows
The Strain is turning pretty lame, I understand you have to develop characters and storylines and stuff....but the show is becoming unwatchable.
