I haven't watched enough caps games this year to know... does OV always take that one timer right into traffic? It looks like 3 or 4 times now he just blasts a one-timer without looking to see the amount of bodies in front of him.

Russia made a mistake not going with 6 skaters. Being the 5 seed isn't noticably better than being the 8 or 9, and a goal would have given them a bye.
