Pens have already gone from 23rd to 21st in the draft with Columbus and Colorado winning. Rooting for St. Louis, Vegas, Dallas, Carolina to move the Pens up to 17th.

What a great trade Sundqvist and a 1st for Reaves was. Set in motion a series of bad trades that got worse until we might have fixed things with Bjugstad and McCann but what a horrible and stupid overpayment that was especially when we had a hug hole in the middle after that.

Yep, and even their fans managed to pick up on how the path is set up for the Caps. Last week when they were getting drubbed by the Canes in Raleigh, a few went to Twitter to gripe that the Caps were "blowing a golden opportunity now that Tampa and the Pens were out."

It's sickening. The Craps team of the last two years has even really been all that impressive to me. The 16 and 17 teams were far more threatening yet it's the recent teams that finally won the Cup and have a good shot at doing it again. As disappointing as the Pens have been this season they still beat the Caps in 3 out of 4 games this year and have mostly owned them aside from last year's playoffs.
