I didn't talk about the game. It'd be no different than if we were around each other in real life, as some people here are. We trust that they do not say anything ABOUT the game to each other.

He isn't saying the he knows he is blue. He is insinuating that you do.
Basically redwill is saying that you see shad going down and you want it to look like you wanted no part of it so that when he comes up blue you can use the "but I fought to keep shad around and he was blue!" defense later.
