PUT A FORK IN EM

Post by clue »

I hate to say it but no matter what way you spin it........they are done this year. They will not make the playoffs. They are a bad team. They give each other no on ice support. The defense is weak. We cant get any scoring from anyone from other lines......its sad and i hate to be pessimistic but the writing is on the wal....just my thoughts

I agree. This team is toast. They have no structure. What system are they playing?

Look at a team like the devils. They are boring as hell, but they win. They have a system in place that breds winning.

The pens have to say bye to MT now. Please shero do not make any trades. A trade will only temporarily mask their glaring weakness..coaching.

I also agree. That was a must win game last night. They have too much ground to make up, and this team is not capable of scoring enough goals to do it.

Shero should however make trades. Get some draft picks for Satan (if you can), Fedotanko, and Gill whose contracts are expiring. If you can make a good trade for Staal, I would also do it.

I agree that the MT regime should end soon. He has been a good coach. The team needed to play better defense when he got there, but they are right were they were when he got there. He has lost the team.

To me, if this team loses tomorrow, they're done.

Even if they made it in the playoffs, I have no faith in them based off of their lack of passion/aggression.

I'm not an MT hater but his time is done here. The coaching staff needs an overhaul and it's better we retool over the offseason.

Seriously, can we just keep all the quitters together in one thread so they can be with all their fellow quitters and they can enjoy quitting together.

Ya took my post.

We are done. The juices are running clear.

I wouldn't do a drastic move to jeapordize the future for this year.

That being said...moves will have to be made.

I am not a quitter and will watch and hope the rest of the season but I am a pragmatist and I can see how they are playing. I do not have my head buried in the sand.

i could see the rangers continuing their freefall and not making the playoffs and possibly florida falling apart when jaybo likely gets traded. making up what will soon be 7 points is quite a tall task

It's looking bleak right now, but if you've seen how bad the Rangers and Canadiens look lately, it provides some hope.

I think we should have 4 threads. A players bashing thread, a coaching bashing thread, a Ray Shero bashing thread, and one more bashing thread that would consist of anything not included in the other 3 bashing threads.

We could always make a positive thread, but it would soon be taken over by a negative bashing thread. Therefore it would be foolish to attempt to create a positive thread.

I'm just saying that we have to keep our threads straight here.

You said the Pens are toast... that should go in the toast thread. This is the fork thread. Make sure your comments are fork related. If we keep putting toast comments in the fork thread, there is no chance we can keep our complaints about the team straight.

As a side note and forewarning... don't put a fork in the toaster. The results could be devastating.

What do you think about having a fork play on Sid's wing? Eklund says Satan for a salad fork. (e5)

The worest thing is, all its going to take is for us is to win our next 3 games and for the 8th place team to lose 3 in a row for us to get into that 8th spot. And there are 20 some odd games left and i still don;t think we can do it with the way we are playing.

With our current roster and coach its not working. We have to much talent to be losing like this.
