Ned standing tall. This is what separates him from Jarry. He battles. Yes he will gives up goals, but he battles for his teammates and his teammates see that.

Pens lose this game if Jarry starts.

Ned’s given up 3, but should be the number one star

An impressive Team Effort. No Passengers out there tonight.
Ned was outstanding.Battled all night and shut the door in the 3rd.
Sid was inspired and set the tone from the start.Another Great Game from him.
Defense with a solid effective performance. Not too many coverage breaidowns.
DOC and Lizotte were a big part of this, their intensity and energy made a difference.

Have to feel good to break the streak against this Opponent and their 2 Superstar Players.Overcame a couple of questionable Penalties and found a way to dig in late and finish this one off.

I was just going to post this. Pens played great, but if Jarry were in goal he'd let a weak one in at the most inopportune time. Sullivan needs to make Ned the #1 goaltender.

Pens tend to show up for bigger opponents and they sure did this time. Nice win.

What a game from NED, highlights saves all game almost! He just gotta be our no.1 choice for the goal.. Jarry just aint that good.

Pathetic refs tonight, horrible biased.. 1st line keeps on buzzing, 2nd line as expected, poor, 3rd line with DOC - Hayes - Pulju was pretty darn good, but as soon as Geno and Tomasino are back, Pulju and Beau go to bench..

He was the SNP player of the game but didn't make any of the 3 stars of the game. :(

That was an impressive victory. 60 minutes of focus and hustle. I'll be honest, I was expecting them to cave when the Oilers started pushing back mid-way through the game. Pens weathered the storm and kept their foot on the gas.

Ned was awesome! I think his play gave the team momentum throughout the game and kept the team pushing. No way the game unfolds that way with Jarry in net. Really enjoyed his post-game interview as well, definitely rooting for the guy no matter what his future is with the Pens.

It's more and more apparent that they must find a way to jettison Jarry, even if it means retaining the max on that contract. He's been better of late but that doesn't mean he's been a consistent No. 1 goalie. He just can't get into that groove. Someone posted before that he might make a good backup somewhere... just not in Pittsburgh, please.

Woah careful... don't knock Jarry! It'll sound deranged and insane if you criticize him!

You forgot about all that hating...

We need love instead.

What is love?
Jarry don't hurt me...

:D

On another note, I can say that I've been pleasantly surprised with Hayes. He's not a fast pleryer, obviously, but I like how he reads the play offensively. He has some skills. He's another guy that might be tradeable for assets next year at the deadline. Nieto is the one I'd sit, regardless of his PK "skills". If Friedman is correct that Beauvillier may be shipped for a pick soon, then that would help with the logjam, too. I don't have a problem with how he's played (thought he was pretty good last night) but might as well start shipping out these short contracts for veterans when they can.

Frankly I was shocked to see he has 6 goals. I frankly don't remember him being on a score sheet at all...Hayes that is. Nieto does not even belong in the league so I am not surprised he is a MS darling. Another Simon, another 50 year old Craig Adams...worthless trash that Sullivan loves because that is what Sullivan was...worthless marginal useless NHL trash so he has a soft spot for that player.
