Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Basic stuff here that Russ can’t even do.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Even if Muth catches that ball they aren't in FG range and they don’t even get down fast enough to clock it. You can’t bring WIlson back.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
So Saturday night on Amazon at Baltimore.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Watching the Lions and Vikings and a modern offense and defense for both teams just makes me want Tomlin gone even more.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Maybe we lose this Saturday to Baltimore and Tomlin is gone! finally.. and then by some miracle Pens do the normal thing and finally fire Sullivan!
It's been eight years since their last playoff win and 14 years since a Super Bowl berth.
Tomlin's lone Super Bowl win was nearly 16 years ago.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I think the game has passed Tomlin by and he's the new Andy Reid. I think him, like Sullivan, would reinvent themselves elsewhere but don't need to grow in Pittsburgh because they're too stuck.Pens4Life wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 3:06 am Maybe we lose this Saturday to Baltimore and Tomlin is gone! finally.. and then by some miracle Pens do the normal thing and finally fire Sullivan!

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Drew Allar would look awfully good in a Steelers uniform.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
A TD on this opening drive would be nice
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Odds that this is a quick, 5 play, 95 yard TD drive for the Ratbirds here?
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
If Minkah can’t even try to make that stop then that’s a problem.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
outscored 73-0 in the first quarter of the last 6 playoff games now.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
If Wilson can’t be trusted to try to get an inch on 4th down he is not the guy to bring back next year.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Ravens running a basic game plan because they have the players to execute basics well and the Steelers can’t even stop **** basic football.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
so 3 and out, Ravens 3:00 TD drive to end then an 8:00 TD drive to start the 3rd and Steelers down 28-0?

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
If T J wanrs a playoff win or Super Bowl ring, he’s going to have to ask for a trade.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
And he should, and I’d be fine with it as long as it’s outside the North and not KC. This team needs a rebuild until the O-line gets 3 years older. Anyone who wants out should get out while we can get something for them if possible.Southern Fan wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2025 9:33 pm If T J wanrs a playoff win or Super Bowl ring, he’s going to have to ask for a trade.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Here’s what I don’t understand, they run these plays in practice and I assume they work to some degree for them to make the game day playbook so how are all these passes being dropped?
And Calvin Austin can take a hit like no one I’ve seen in a long time.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Two nice TD passes I guess is all we are getting from Russ this game and was probably enough to overpay for him to continue his career decline in Pittsburgh for the next three years.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
4th and 15, lets throw it 50 yards into the end zone to a guy in quadruple coverage. Great read there Russ.
Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Was that Pickens getting a jersey signed by Lamar?
