St. Ivany makes the team but Brunicke has a chance to stick for a tryout or more, if there’s cap space for 8 defensemen with Brunicke I’d give the edge to Ludvig over Shea. Of the two forward spots only Puljujarvi has made a case if you want some scoring, would assume Glass makes the roster, and we would carry a 13th forward so three guys have a shot.

Power play definitely looks improved. I don't love having both Rakell and Rust on the same unit though. They are very similar players and both righty. Bunting should be on PP1. He is the only skilled forward we have that will get the dirty goals.

125% - not sure I understand why Bunting has seemingly been relegated to PP2. The only time last season this team looked like it even remotely had a pulse on the PP is after they acquired Bunting and plugged him right in front of the net.

I’d go back to trying Graves-Letang, that’s how bad Gryz looks. Too bad Pickering isn’t ready because our LD is really terrible

Another positive about the PP scheme. No more of that silly back pass to the trailing skater who would try to enter the zone. I never understood that play. Very glad to see they got rid of that "strategy."
