I got a D on an English paper in high school because I mixed up the meanings. Seems like she could have given me a pass. She knew what I meant.Mango Salsa wrote:The misuse of the word "weary" when someone means wary or leary.

So you're growing wary of it, then?

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
My wife corrected me on that about 6 months ago. She said its bothered her since she met me. Thanks for going 14 years without saying something.
I'm wary of her holding back on more.

Frozen. It's been years now. Please go away. I don't understand you or why people like your songs. Your existence is a constant reminder of how alienated I am from popular culture. Make a sequel or stop being a thing.

It's eased up since i quit paying attention to the Redskins this season but dear District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia: "The DMV" is already taken as a thing. It's not a thing anyone likes. Maybe try to be a different thing.
Not "The VD" though. Also already a thing people don't like.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
she looks straight up ugly with that stupid haircut. I winced when she had it in the Hunger Games Episode 3 Part 1 Series 15.
and it's very sad because I think she's gorgeous in GoT

I assumed it was a haircut for that role. Hopefully not something she keeps because it ruins her.

I used to work in IT at a car dealership and the salesman would tell me they would get requests all the time this time of year to do that.dodint wrote:Car commercials where the last shot is a car with a giant bow on it.
Also, I see they still have car commercials showing the car doing extreme stuff with the usual "Professional driver on a closed course track. Do not attempt" disclaimer. Just cracks me up. And then you wonder why people think they are invincible in their cars especially in the winter.

Sort of like ads for the Jeep Wrangler in which they show the Jeep driving up mountains, driving through rivers, etc. But, if you ever had a problem with your Wrangler and take it to the dealership for work, they'll void your warranty if there are obvious signs of off roading.pens9192 wrote:Also, I see they still have car commercials showing the car doing extreme stuff with the usual "Professional driver on a closed course track. all non-GoT images I've seen of her had her with that haircut, so I think it's a style she likes. Could be wrong thoughthe wicked child wrote:I assumed it was a haircut for that role. Hopefully not something she keeps because it ruins her.

I don't think so. Sarcastic isn't subtle enough to creep around like that.MRandall25 wrote:Has to be Sarcastic's 2nd account...
