It's easy Sully. Winning is any night where you get 2 points. If we go about redefining what words mean... how about we redefine "firing the coach" as "supporting the coach fully and providing them with an opportunity to seek employment elsewhere"?

Add in Rust and Geno have always been very good together makes it even more absurd.Coffey Break wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 10:33 pm The fact Rakell was ever moved away from 87 should be one of the148374 reasons to fire the head coach.

I think we could get a 1st rounder from NJ for Ned right now.

Yup. For some reason Sully has always tried to will Rakell and Geno to work together. Rakell always looks his best and engaged when he plays with Sid.DelPen wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 10:37 pmAdd in Rust and Geno have always been very good together makes it even more absurd.Coffey Break wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 10:33 pm The fact Rakell was ever moved away from 87 should be one of the148374 reasons to fire the head coach.

Found the quote. It was from the trib live article. I found it... amusing?
"After practice on Tuesday, Penguins coach Mike Sullivan talked about “rethinking what winning looks like in Pittsburgh.”

Who’s hurt since the lines have been a mess this period? Gruden?

Someone told me recently that White actually played in the NHL before. I called them a liar.

Sully probably just going with a shorter bench. He only plays veterans he trusts in third periods…Zalapski33 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 10:45 pmHaven't seen Gruden since that mini scrum at the benches.

I see Puljujarvi has been stapled to the bench too. He plays too physical for Sullivan's liking.

Maybe PoolParty? 48 and 20 were out there with 77 just now and I think that was the line when Eller hit the post too. Saw Gruden on the bench but could see him being the guy not rotated in to the three lines now.KG wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 10:46 pmSully probably just going with a shorter bench. And it’s just a short bench and rolling three lines because Puustinen, Puljujarvi and Gruden aren't worth playing.
