Jarry is 14-14 with a 2.45 and .916.
Not including tonight’s game. He should have much more wins with those numbers.
Not enough scoring on this team.

Malkin just hanging out with the puck at the blue line like there’s 16 minutes left in the game.

I like how Geno was trying to kill time on that power play.

Re: Official GDT: Pens @ Jets 2/10/24
So Rierden drew up a play that with an extra attacker Malkin isolates himself with two Jets players near the point and can’t do anything with it because not a single **** player gets open for him? **** genius. We had two players just standing next to each post not making traffic for a shot or getting open for a pass. Fire all the coaches except Velluci and promote him. It can’t get any worse.

Great effort fellas! I’m sure there will be an honorable mention entry into this years playoffs and we will own that spot! Scored 1 goal. One! uno! A singleton. That will be enough for this stretch run. WTF!

They must be told to stand next to the goal instead of in front. It happens all the time.

Pretty sure Geno stopped listening to the coaching staff 7 years ago. He does his thing.DelPen wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 9:32 pm So Rierden drew up a play that with an extra attacker Malkin isolates himself with two Jets players near the point and can’t do anything with it because not a single **** player gets open for him? **** genius. Sully best not say " I liked our compete level". I thought he was a Gen Z not a Millennial. There are no participation trophies or points for trying. Results are ALL that matters.

Last minute of a 1 goal game, goalie pulled. Let's just al stand still and pass it around he perimeter. Yeah, that will work!!

Re: Official GDT: Pens @ Jets 2/10/24
This is a clear indication to me that too many players have tuned out the coaching staff. Reirden should have been gone before but I guarantee that he's not drawing up on the whiteboard "you stand over here, you stand there, pass the puck back and forth to each other, repeat. Don't move any, and by all that is holy, don't get near the net"
Recently the Pens have looked dynamite with the goaltender pulled and have scored three times. Tonight in a back to back, they looked tired and kind of gave up and accepted the L.

Re: Official GDT: Pens @ Jets 2/10/24
Another 1 Goal loss with a 3rd Period PP that falls short where it has the chance to impact the result.
Jarry was outstanding,Can't do any more for his team. Both Ned and him have given this team so many good games.
Malkin with an invisible game until he takes a late penalty and decides to run the clock out for Winnipeg.Going through the motions.
Puljujarvi got stronger as the game wore on.Rakell and Smith with zero effect offensively.Guentzel was off tonight as well.
Can't play with the inconsistent effort and expect to win these games.Would have been a 4-1 or 5-1 loss if not for Jarry.
These 2 losses should put aside any notion of the Pens making a push for a Playoff spot.A team that hasn't scored more than 3 Goals in a game since the first week of the year, the same failure from the PP,slow starts, and a Coach who can't or won't find a way to address these issues.Dubas didnt help with Graves and Smith being 2 poor acquisitions. But the nonsense about the games in hand and liking the effort are empty words.Time to hold guys accountable.

You have your Gen’s wrong, he would be X. Gen Z doesn't even have to try to get a trophy these days or even show up

I keep waiting for a player to speak up and speak the truth. Rust speaking tonight said they played very poorly in the first, but they started to play the right way and improve as the game went on.
Same feeling as last year...there's no feeling that they are in trouble. There's no feeling that the playoffs are slipping away with every poor performance. Going through the motions, and can't even execute "the motions" at this point.

Mike Sullivan: "We didn't set ourselves up to play the game that I think gives us the best chance to win. I thought we responded. The second period, I thought we competed hard, third period… but we're chasing the game at that point."

Straight talk from straight shooter Bob Grove:
With Flyers and Tampa winning, Pens 9 points out of third in the Metro and 7 points out of the last wild card spot in the East. Despite the games in hand, playoff chances very bleak. This weekend was a killer.
