OK zebras, give it a rest now on the tacky penalty calls and let 'em play a while. And keep the horn on mute.

There’s no high stick there. Never made it past Rust’s shattered stick. Just unlucky.
But This ill be interesting, never seen one of these reviews.

Broken stick and that leads to the Goal.
Challenge for going into the netting?

That should not be a goal. It's off the ice in the safety net.

Hopefully the refs have a better, zoomed in view than what we are seeing.

Hope there’s an angle to see it.stonewizard51 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 10:40 pm That should not be a goal. It's off the ice in the safety net.

You can see the net bulge.

By the slow motion it looks out of play.
Toronto with a better angle we hope to get to verify it.

The 3 Pens watching that puck go around didn't react initially so I don't think they saw it hit anything.

You can see the net move when the puck hit it. But this crew getting it wrong isn’t a surprise.

the very last zoomed camera angle they just showed seems to show it does hit the net

There was a shot where the net rippled when the puck touched it.

Re: Official GDT: Pens @ Wild 2/9/24
If the grainy video we saw was all that was able to be used for a review then that shouldn’t be a reviewable play. Hard for a team to win one when even when you see the net move it’s not clear enough so it’s just asking for a delay of game penalty even when you are right.

Late 3rd Period and another PP that has to convert.
I'd get Karlsson out here and let him have the puck to set it up.

Malkin doing them no good with his usual high missed shot from the off wing.
