Sitting at 75degree home watching this outdoor game is OK. Can't imagine sitting outside in minus zero temperatures watching a hockey game even if the Pens were playing in it. Plus the seats are so far from the ice I doubt if I could even see the puck.

Nice to watch the Caps lose at home to the weak Canucks. Looks like the Caps lost 5 of their last 6. Guess they peaked a little early. Hopefully they can keep up the losing trend.

As usual looks like I was wrong again. Flyers lost number 8 in a row. Maybe they are trying for some good high picks. :pop:

Well they have a different GM, who's name isn't Hextall, so maybe Clarke would approve.

Dead last in Metro and 12 loses in a row. Guess that is the current Flyer hockey. Chuck Fletcher got some work to do.

Not sure how or why but I just heard Tom Wilson made the all-star game. :face: Did he make it for the number of bad hits? He'll probably do well in the skills competition. Just not sure which skill.

Edit: Just heard he made it because of AO being Covid+.

And he scores 13 seconds into the first all-star game. :face:

And Jake gets one to help the Metro move on! :thumb:

Watching Canes Leafs game. Can’t believe there’s still basically no fans allowed.

At least the Caps only get 1 point tonight. Caps (Oshie) scored to tie it with only 1.8 secs left but McDavid won it in OT.

Watched the Caps Canes game last night. Very physical playoff type game. I sure don't think we can physically compete with this stuff in the playoffs.

As much as I hate Washington, it's funny seeing Florida implode.

Yep agree with the Washington hate and it is making me sick to watch them do this to Florida. IMHO the number 1 Florida team (and x-Flyer Giroux) in big trouble. Guess physical stuff does help in playoffs.

Never, ever do I lightly bring this up, but Florida heading into the playoffs gave me a 1993 Pens vibe. I think they won 13 in a row before losing their last game or two, after having clinched the presidents trophy. That pace isn't sustainable, and while I don't know how much of their problems are Bob's fault, his playoff record speaks for itself.

The President Cup jinx. Wasn't the 2013 Blackhawks the last President cup winner to also win Lord Stanley?

Correct about the Hawks.

Caps-Leafs would be a good series.

Got at least two game sevens so far. Should be interesting games Saturday. I'll pick the home teams and say Canes and Leafs move on. I would like to see Bolts gone and no chance for a third cup.

Make that 3 game 7s tomorrow. Good competitive games in the first round. Sure hope we don't get to a game seven.

As usual I was wrong and the Panthers move on. Pretty pleasant watching the Caps lose it in OT after tying it up late in third.

Felt as if I couldn't go wrong with that series. Either Washington loses or Claude loses.

Caps have dropped four straight first-round series, and they had series leads in three of them.

Max Domi awakes from a years-long slumber to get his first two playoff goals of his career and in a game 7. He looks like a totally different player today than he has for years.

That was about the last guy I expected to win it. Him being in deep around the goal line right before is a place he's rarely seen and then as he's heading to the point, seizes the moment!

Rangers played a great two periods, better than any period against the Pens, but Carolina woke up during intermission and just took over the game completely, except for the moment Kakko missed an open net from about 10 feet that would have won it in regulation. HAHA!
