Looks like Ben Bishop's career is over due to a degenerative condition in his right knee.

As I just reported on the 32 Thoughts segment on Hockey Night in Canada.... The Arizona Coyotes have at least one offer that meets their criteria in a Jakob Chychrun deal - two former first round picks and a 1st round selection in an upcoming draft.

Plenty of teams are interested in Chychrun including the Rangers who have discussed Vitali Kravtsov but not sure that moves the needle for the Coyotes. I still think the Panthers are the team to watch so far.

Oilers making big coaching changes.
"Dave Tippett was fired as coach of the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday.
The 60-year-old was replaced by Jay Woodcroft, coach of the Oilers' American Hockey League affiliate in Bakersfield.
Edmonton associate coach Jim Playfair was also fired"
Tippett was 95-62-14 in three seasons with the Oilers
They have a similar playoff record to ours.
"Edmonton has been eliminated in the first round of the postseason the past two seasons, including a four-game sweep by the Winnipeg Jets last season"
