Whoa, that's fantastic. Do yourselves a favor and click through and read the description on Youtube. It was made by one animator...by hand.

I "heard" a song in a dream that I haven't physically heard in like 4 months, and now I can't get it out of my head.

I didn't even realize that was possible.

That happened to me at Thanksgiving. After dropping off the in-laws at the airport, I heard 'Madness' on the radio. Was stuck in my brain for like three months. It was actual madness. Eventually cleared up..... then on Sunday I went to an airshow and the frickin' Thunderbirds use the song in their show choreography.

I've had terrible music stuck in my head for the last 7 months because my vanpool driver always has the radio on a chart pop station. I've considered quitting just to get some god damn mental peace and quiet.

Advice to first time home buyers: It is a good to talk to neighbors before buying but it can also be bad, especially in a neighborhood you are not 100% sure on. We talked to two neighbors before buying our house five years ago. One of them had lived in the nieghborhood 30 years and the other one lived his whole life in the neighborhood, so about 60 years. Both of them said the neighborhood was quiet and low traffic. We used these opinions as a factor in our decision to buy our house (cuz location, location, location). It turned out the neighborhood was only quiet in the middle of the night. During the day there is a ton of car traffic which confuses me because it is a small suburb. People we knew that have lived near our neighborhood had no idea our street existed until we moved in, so where do these cars come from? I am guessing passing through and I'd say 60% of the traffic has malfunctioning mufflers or none at all and in the spring and summer there a ton of motorcycles. I live at the base of a hill, so most of the traffic is traveling up the hill and makes things worse because everyone is accelerating.
we enco
During our time staking out the neighborhood we didn't really encounter the above problems. It seems to get worse every year. The second day after we moved in we encountered a neighbor who revved his motorcycle on and off for about four hours that day and did that every Saturday. The house seemed like no one was home with no evidence of a bike when we were staking things out. We are planning to move away from here within the next two years. The noise and traffic aren't the main reasons for it but they are big reasons.

My point is longtime neighbors will have gotten used to flaws in a neighborhood and what seems like "normal" (something they got used to) may be a turn off or annoyance to someone moving in, so take their advice lightly. I have learned my lesson.

Stay away from Valotta's. I remember Jack's Tux as being ok. There's always Men's Warehouse, too.

As long as it's warm for the first day of trout season. Froze my yarbels off steelhead fishing on the elk river near Erie last weekend, but was worth it.

Actually, it's Elk Creek not river. Depending on exactly where on the creek you were, you may have been within a few miles of my place. Some great steelhead fishing there. Catch anything?

We were at Uncle John's Campground. Saw the webcam and the water data, seemed to be perfect. Got a little cold in the tent last Thursday/Friday. I caught nothing, but my buddy caught a 24.5" steely. Had fun though.

hmmm....... concern troll. Interesting.
A concern troll is a false flag pseudonym created by a user whose actual point of view is opposed to the one that the troll claims to hold. The concern troll posts in Web forums devoted to its declared point of view and attempts to sway the group's actions or opinions while claiming to share their goals, but with professed "concerns". The goal is to sow fear, uncertainty and doubt within the group.
