EK has been mostly invisible lately. Definitely struggling in the system. Sullivan is clearly not going anywhere, wonder if Dubas will quietly gauge the market for him? Highly doubtful but you never know.

I’m not a power play expert, but it seems to me that a big problem is the seemingly unnecessary high risk passes across the top of the set up that even when they don’t result in a turnover and odd man rush, serve no useful purpose toward scoring a goal. I wish they’d figure this out and make more meaningful passes that set up scoring chances.

If the choice is keeping one of the best offensive defensemen in the NHL not just right now but ever or a coach who has been mired in mediocrity for 4 years now and you pick the coach you should be fired.
