Sid can't make that change there. Way too risky.

After looking like an AHL team in the 1st, Pens played pretty well and Canes let way up. Jarry was brilliant up until the OT goal, but hard to fault him because the score should have been 4 or 5-0 after the 1st.

Cannot have Geno out there in ot. Just not responsible enough. That is on Sully and his pig headed inability to grasp reality.

If only the organization had someone in charge, who could make strategy and run practices for certain situations. I guess that's too advanced for this team.

Nah, after a hard loss where they failed to show up for the 1st period, they should have the day off tomorrow. Fragile egos.

When roles and abilities change the coaching has to follow and place guys in positions to make a difference. These guys are trying to coach this team like it is 2017. I may now be onboard with Sully needs to go. You cannot continue to do the same thing and get the same results without being held accountable.

All due respect to Mike Sullivan, the Penguins’ continued and constant failure in 3-on-3 overtime & on the power play is an indictment of the coaching staff& would get a lot of coaches fired.

He's not wrong. Especially the power play. It's absurd this team with the talent they have has a bottom of the league power play.

I don’t think it’s out of the question for a team to fire a coach mid season while in the playoff race if/when it’s obvious that the guy is a weak link. To me, that’s at least Rierden. I mean it’s beyond ridiculous that it’s the middle of January and this loaded power play is still awful, AND nothing has changed at all.

Leading the President’s Trophy race.

We are stuck in the mud in 2016-2017.

Coaching changes usually work. Oilers are 20-6 since bringing in a new coaching staff. Not sure what the organization is so afraid of. They've been very fair and patient with Sullivan.

They've lost 5 OT games in a row. What has Sully changed in OT? It's the same thing over and over. Just like the PP.

Erik Karlsson on the Penguins' 3 on 3 struggles and the nature of the problem: "I have my theories, but I'll keep it to myself."

What does that mean? Doesn't want to call out anyone?? Or coaching??

Sully asked about the PP again tonight. "It has to be better". That's his entire answer. Blaming the players without actually saying it. Who's actually in charge of this team? If it has to be better f***ing do something about it. Make changes in personnel, scheme or both. I mean come on. Wtf.

The PP is bad, EK is not at his normal levels, Graves is bad, Acciari is stuck playing center when he's better at wing, Puustinen had 7 points in his first 10 games, and since then has reached 10 minutes or more TOI only once, Smith doesn't seem happy here, the PK is slipping in the wrong direction, 4 years of first round exits and a playoff miss last year.

When is enough enough. The kicker may be the Sullivan refuses to show any anger or accountability. We didn't get to our game, I liked our game, blah blah blah.

Sell Jake. Trade Smith. Trade Ned. Trade Acciari and Eller. Start stockpiling picks, and get a coach who is good with youth...because that's what the next phase of this team needs. Let's stop the "one more Cup" pipe dream ideas.

Poulin has scored in 3 straight games in WBS. Get him up here, give him a legit shot.

Z played 4 minutes last night. Coach clearly doesn’t trust him.

Problem is Poulin will be given the same ice time because Sully loves him his Carter and Harkins.

Coaching staff has no answers for the power play. Doesn’t even sound like they practice 3 on 3 situations.

Get Berube in here. Enough is enough.

The unfortunate thing is while something obviously needs to change, I'd love to see Sullivan be the coach of our team once fully committed to the rebuild. Look at what he was able to do when he utilized the young guys in 16/17, because they were "his WBS guys". He has his hands tied with over the hill vets, and the little youth we have in Puustinen and DOC, while we want them to be better and get a chance, maybe they are what they are...an undrafted guy, and a 7th rounder. I think Sullivan would be great with a rebuilding team.

Pens are fourth best team in the league, 2nd in the east, in 5 on 5 goal differential. They would be loading the Metro with a functioning power play.

I think ir was mentioned on the recent Caps-Pens broadcast that the head coach of the Caps relies on the assistant coach to coach the power play. If the same holds true for the Pens, Reardon needs to be fired or have his responsibilities of the power play removed and given to a coach who doesn’t care about hurting some future hall of famers feelings in coming up with a functioning power play.

I’d like to know what EK65 was thinking but refused to talk about it. Any ideas?
