Well at least Riikola seemed to do the right thing. Jarry a little slow on that play.

Jarry hasn't been quite as sharp since the ASG

Neither has the team in front of him. These goals are more breakdowns of all 6 players on the ice and not bad goals per se. also shows Jarry’s stats were helped by outstanding team defense in form of him for a few months.

Sully would be wise to give Sid McCann or Rust. Neither Simon nor Hornqvist are finishers. Makes Sid work a hell of a lot harder to generate offense for them.

Why must they always make those stoooooopid cross ice or backwards passes as they think they are exiting our zone? Every GD time!

Would love to see McCann on his line...**** happens when he's on the ice.

Yeah Simon just isn't what Dupuis or Kunitz were for Sid. Def missing Jake something fierce too. Maybe Kahun on Sid's wing if he ever comes back?

ZAR reminds me of a "ghosty" when you don't have enough players on a team and you need someone invisible to fill a spot.

More danged slow cross-ice passes ...

Worrying about Jarry's play in this game is a bit fatuous.

He’s not even Sheary. This obsession with Simon is horrible coaching and it’s made worse when he does some basic play of the winger who is supposed to make and social media throws it in his critics faces.

I don’t think anyone is. It’s more the general concern his GAA is going up and doubling from ridiculously low but mostly because the team is allowing better scoring chances against.

He’s still making all the saves you expect a goalie to make. He can’t save all the impossible ones though.

Only 3 goals through 35 minutes is easy for Bob vs the Pens. That’s hilariously true.

Same could be said for Galchenyuk, but at least his excuse nowadays is that he just never gets any actual ice time sorta checks out.

NO DOUBT. One of the worst trades the Pens have made

2nd shift for the Lafferty line this period was a disaster. Guess the last 20 will be a three line game.

I would much rather see Blandisi over Galchenyuk. Really anyone at this point but we need someone who will skate through a wall on this 5th line now. If Yuck isn’t going to be til 6 he’s not worth playing. Waive him, Hope someone claims him, then send him to WBS to be a scratch and trim a million or so from the cap.

Probably not the case. One could argue that losing Kessel changed the whole approach of the team. Galchenyuk was a necessary addition.

Kessel needed to go, Joseph was the real piece of that deal.

I hear ya about the chemistry of the team etc, but it just seems like it was such a loss in the trade for the team.
