Galchenyuk possible scratch

Postby LimerickPensFan on Thu Feb 06, 2020 5:44 pm

From DK's gameday thread:
There's word here -- anything but official -- that Alex Galchenyuk will finally be scratched tonight. Might find out more at 5 p.m. when Mike Sullivan speaks but also might not.

Let's hope a trade is coming...

Or send him to wheeling, would actually save money burying even only $1 million or so.

Same source
Sullivan declined to answer regarding any other possible lineup changes, though that's standard for him.

It certainly would take cojones (actually I’d call it stupidity) to scratch at least a NHL player in AG for a non-NHL player in Agozzino...

What in his time here in Pittsburgh would support the theory Galchenyuk is an NHL player? Lafferty and Blandisi have been better on the ice in the actual game of hockey every time they have played. Agozinno and Angello have also been better. So has DiPauli. It’s like anyone who wants a chance to prove they can play in the NHL have looked better. At some point you need to make this team harder to play against and Galchenyuk doesn’t do that in any way.

I was thinking Riikola. Sully seems to prefer him at wing.

I think its really stupid and annoying Sully plays 4th line around 5min,they should play 8-9min at least. Play Blandisi - Lafferty - Angelo line, if he doesnt like Agozzino and Yuck
