Need help again. If anyone was at the game today (or has been when they played this in the past), it was the song they played during the "Stomp your feet" image on the scoreboard before the start of the 3rd. The only words I could really make out were "suffocation," "something strange," and then a bunch of "la la la la." Anyone know?

They've played some stuff from The F**king Champs. I'm pretty sure that I've heard "What's a Little Reign" at a few games and most recently "Andres Segovia Interests Me" at the Alumni game at the Winter Classic.

As a fan from afar, I only get to hear the music as background noise to the commentary. There are certain games when I am blown away by the tunes that get played, and at the right times. Some I feel were dusted off from my own musical library, and I of course enjoy the new tunes that I get exposed to.

Last night was another example of a great tune that I love and was surprised to hear. Chevelle was juicing out at one point, made me smile like the score.

Does anyone believe that the music played during stops helps the Pens? I know if I was a current Penguin, and heard my favorite motivational tunes played during stops, it would cerainly not hurt my performance.

Really love that Diamondeyes song for the intro on the Jumbotron, really gets you pumped for the game. Have seen it at two games in recent weeks. Almost wonder if it can possibly be worked into a cool goal song?

We all have our opinions on art. Personally, I love most of the music they play at the arena. For the past few years, it's been terrific. My tastes learn towards punk/metal/rock, which you don't hear everywhere you go (unlike top 40, country, hip hop, and other assorted garbage). Again, that's one man's opinion.

I'd personally settle for even more hardcore music. Death Metal if I could get it, especially when fights happen.

I can't remember the intro for the Feb game I went to vs the caps (not many memorable things about that game other than the crappy drive home in the snow) so it must not have been nearly as good. I liked the one in December with the XMAS style theme (I know XMAS music is lame) but you could tell the video crew was having a BLAST with the new jumbotron and all the LED rings in the building is it was really neatly coreographed and there were some great Pens moments mixed in.

It's some Pittsburgh song. The only part I know is "Pittsburgh...PA!" Seth mentioned it during his game blog.
