I guess that was the giant tour bus on High St. Every time I see a tour bus I wonder what act it is.
What a blast this trip was. The game didn't hurt either!

That pretty much describes my trip. It says something that the "worst" part of my night was my team dominated so much the game was over 15 minutes in.

I hope all the Pens fans enjoyed their time in Columbus. Haven't heard any horror stories from Blue Jackets fans so that's a plus. Feels like both sides are kind of hoping for a small rivalry to develop.

check the CBJ thread on HFboards...we are the rudest fans ever and all their season ticket holders will never buy tickets again!!!!
haha, funny how the rudeness of the visiting fans seems to be related to the drubbing the home team takes.

I talked to a number of CBJ fans including season ticket holders and they are just hoping its motivation for the team from here on out. No real issues with any Penguins fans either. However, if Columbus can put it together and put a consistently good product on the ice don't expect to take over Nationwide every year.

In their defense, there was a pretty decent amount of yinzering going on that was uncalled for

I think the whole atmosphere of taking over "enemy territory" mixed with the fact that pens fans were in the area hours before hand, taking over bars, mixed with the fact that many people were spending the night and didn't have to drive created a very big partying element...kind of like a Mardi Gras kind of feeling.
Combine that with a game that was over before the first period was done and an entire third period that was fairly boring - "idle hands do the devil's work" may apply.

Lol no idea, one dude and one girl started playing UFC behind you though.
Then they got kicked out, and the one dude started trying to pump himself up.

Honest to god, I did feel bad when people wearing jackets uniforms were getting booed as they entered the Rbar. I laughed, and laughed, and laughed, but felt bad...slightly.

Glad everyone had fun in Buckeye nation. These are the fans Pittsburgh fans should have gunned for. Not the CBJ fans.

Tweets from the Rbar last night are great:
Calling all #cbj fans. We are outnumbered 50 to 1. Please get to the R Bar ASAP we need reinforcements.
Help we need Reinforcements
Burghgate “@bzarcher: Wow. The "Big Seats" winners are all wearing Pens gear. #CBJ #Gameopsfail”
I would say tonight. “@CBJ4Ever: Thank God that's over. Bag skate tomorrow? #CBJ #CBJPP”
Nash not playing in 3rd. Benched or injured?
Or invisible

Anyone see what happened in section 206 before the game? I was in 207 and couldn't really see anything but some older CBJ fan in a green jersey was just yelling at some college-aged pens fans like right before the game started. Then he left and didn't come back. No clue what his deal was.

Look at HF boards. Reading CBJ's thing is kind of pathetic really, just basically saying the same generic hate over and over. Also, from what I gather, if you weren't old enough to be in college, or are in college now and look young. Just pony up and admit that you're a bandwagon fan.

The 24 ounce servings of beer in the game had something to do with the atmosphere also I think.
