The Offspring - You're Gonna Go Far Kid
Paramore - Crushcrushcrush
Does anyone know who does the remix of the theme from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"? At least I think it's from that particular Eastwood flick... Metallica used to use it as their "opening" theme back in the day...
Edit: The name of the song is L'Estasi Dell'oro (The Ecstacy of Gold) from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. There's a remix version out there on a CD called "Ennio Morricone - Remixes 2" but the CD is discontinued (as per Amazon). Not sure if this is the one the Pens are playing though...

They also used to play "Offspring - Defy You" during warmups.

Yup. That's the one from the Eastwood flick. It's also in the Nike Fate commercial with LT and Polamalu

Am I missing something? Is no one going to say "The Hey Song"???
Also, I built a bar in my basement and party for most pens game. We play "Renegade" by Styx before each faceoff (We havent lost a game where I did this) and the crowd seems to love "Rise Above This" by Seether

The Ennio Morricone L'Estasi Dell'oro that they play during the game (remix) is available for download on iTunes.
That's where I got it.

I believe the Pens, along with a bunch of other NHL and NFL teams have backed away from using The Hey Song because Gary Glitter.....ummm, "likes to touch kids." I try to get to a few games a year, and I don't recall hearing that song in Mellon in quite a few years. A season ticket or flex plan holder might have a better idea though.
I know Waiting Room was mentioned, but I think I heard the opening notes to Styrofoam earlier this year.

If you mean Rock & Roll Part II, they play it after every Pens goal.

I was at the game against Calgary in late March and they played it after both goals. I never heard that NHL teams were backing off of playing this, but I know that the NFL specifically advised teams not to play it which is why the Steelers play some crappy remade version of it. Either go Gary Glitter or not at all.

They also play "bat country" by Avenged Sevenfold, "prison bound", and "bad luck" by Social D when we take a penalty, and They do play "Holy Diver" But its the Killswitch Engage Version. Not DIO.

The Pens are pushing this song hard. I'm trying, but I can't get myself to like it.

I agree, "Seasons" is growing on me........
I think I have heard Rancid's, "Time Bomb" a few times this year, too.......

What are they playing pregame these days? Didn't get there till 2 min. into the 1st last night due to weather, and when I went in December we stayed at the bar too long to see the intro.

Pregame, it's still the Veer Union song in the video.
Last night's warmup soundtrack was:
Whiskey In The Jar- Metallica
Wait- Earshot
Counting 54321- Thursday
A song which I didn't recognize but I believe it was by The Sword. Anyone know the name of the song?
