So apparently the Bill Cosby cameo during the 'Celebrity Jeopardy' bit was written for Eddie Murphy, but he declined to do it. (Like, the day before the show.)

Also heard yesterday that perhaps it wasn't Spade's "Look, children, a falling star" joke that turned Murphy off the show forever. In the late 90s, Tim Meadows appeared in a sketch called "Eddie Murphy: Good Samaritan" where he drives around performing random acts of kindness for transvestites. (Google "Eddie Murphy, transvestite, 1997" if you don't know the context.) And - for the life of me - I can't find a video clip of that bit. Hmm.

Not true. I gave up about 40 tweets in. Especially since the author didn't bother taking out duplicates. I gave up on HP before I even started. ;)
