The life and death of Michel Brière

Fifty years ago, the Penguins' first star was injured a car crash in Québec, three weeks before his wedding day. He died 11 months later. He was 21. Here's the story of Brière and the fiancée and the son he left behind.

Sending calming quarantine vibes to all.
This is a lovely article at the athletic on Michel Briere. From his fiancée, son, family members, PGH family.
Stephen Nesbitt writes a very sad story of love. Which we all need more of today.

This was a terrific read! What a loss. I feel for his son and for everybody in his family. He seemed like he could've been the real deal. Thanks for posting the link.
