It's frightening that no matter where Florida picks up the puck, it turns immediately into a scoring chance. I don't think this is because Florida is an all-time great team. But, given that they've had the pressure on, don't you think you would work extra hard not to miss opportunities to clear your own zone??

He's been a bit of a surprise for me with that huge contract, but a surprise in a good way.

A lot of the problems are because of injuries still.

Guentzel-Bjugstad-Kahun would be a decent line on any team.

Dumoulin-Marino is also top 4 on most teams too.

Same could be said for Galchenyuk, but at least his excuse nowadays is that he just never gets any actual ice time sorta checks out.

NO DOUBT. One of the worst trades the Pens have made

Kessel needed to go, Joseph was the real piece of that deal.

Yeah that was just an unfortunate position for the Pens to be in, but man, it's hard to believe how bad Galchenyuk has been here. I agree with the sentiments on playing guys who'll at least skate their a** off if they don't have the talent to play otherwise.

Hated the term but love it right now. But ask me in 5 years, and then again his salary will probably be close to league minimum by then.

Man ... Tanev, Blueger, and Aston-Reese all robbed on chances to restore the 2-goal lead.

Yeah he has. After what he's done so far this year I'm surprised he missed those 2 but nobody is perfect.

I was kind of thinking that. Just carry the stick in a belt loop in case he needs it in the offensive zone.

3:02 ice time for Galchenyuk. Near healthy scratch.

That's 3:02 more than most people on this board thinks he should get.

Difference is the last time they had all the injuries the team really gelled and played the system. Sure seems like they are moving the needle closer to last years team than the great system team of the first half.

Not sure if hes back, but Crosby went to locker room with a skate issue. He clearly looked down at his skated while in Panthers zone, went right to the bench and straight down the runway.

Doesn’t seem like it yet, Lafferty was out with Simon and Horny last shift.

Yeah, I saw several stick fouls and interferences. Those aren't penalties anymore?
