Letang cant shoot from the point and every nhl teams knows it. So they just sit back and wait for him to do something dumb, which doesn't take long.

They need 2 defense on the point. Letang and Schultz. It’s not fair to take geno out of the play and make him responsible on the point defensively. He isn’t good at it.

Or a player who isn’t an idiot on defense to be the lone defenseman. Letang ain’t it. Schultz probably isn’t it. Marino might at some point.

This team wont win a series with a PP like this, GMJR needs to work the phones.

Don't pull Murray. It's embarrassing.

Well if Marino is out then chad is in. But we need someone who gives a **** about just playing a solid shift. And Yuck doesn’t give a ****. Anyone in Wheeling would be better than that empty sweater. He’s a **** disgrace. Satan came back and beat the **** out of someone in the playoffs and adapted his game on the 4th line. Palffy retired. Yuck needs to do one or the other.

Galchenyuk needs this picture in his locker every game and practice until he gets the **** point that he needs to do something else if he’s isn’t scoring goals.

Do they even practice 5 on 3 and 6 on 5? It's really frustrating to watch. Anyone know the last time they tied up a game with the goalie pulled?

On the plus side, this 3rd period was much better than the 3rd periods of the last couple games.

Thats because Tampa sat back and defended a lead, instead of WSH and PHI chasing.

Its painfully obvious they don't practice at all with any man advantage

Mears and Errey spoke tonight about how much video they’ve watched and how it’s been a focus in practice. There were a couple decent looking power plays tonight, but no results.

That power play where they had zone possession 1 minute and 56 seconds looked good. And really, Vas.... had no idea where that puck was that he kicked out on the 5 on 3.

I don't know, I think Vas did know where the puck was. He had his head turned and maybe caught a glimpse or did feel it. Pretty amazing. I've seen Hasek do that more than once, but can't think of any other goaltenders who pulled that off.
