Neither did Marleau, but it's presumed he stayed back to help his family move.

On the bright spot, neither did Trotman - with the presumption he's on his way back to Wilkes Barre.

Dumoulin, Marino and Bjugstad all practiced fully. I'm guessing at least one of the Ds in that list plays tomorrow.

Yes, Trotman reassigned.

Based on the line rushes today, I would assume that ZAR (and possibly Simon) are now the only injured Penguins.

EDIT: Sullivan says Simon is week-to-week with an upper body injury.

These were the lines today:

Zucker-Crosby-Sheary
Bjugstad-Malkin-Rust
Rodrigues-McCann-Hornqvist
Tanev-Blueger-Lafferty

Dumoulin-Letang
Pettersson-Marino
Johnson-Schultz
Riikola-Ruhwedel

So we now have ZAR and Simon out. I'm assuming Marleau is back for the game tomorrow, likely the 3LW, and Rodrigues slides down to take the 4RW spot from Lafferty. Those are my guesses.

Actually, Dumoulin and Marino are listed as Game Time Decisions. Bjugstad skated full contact, but I haven't seen him listed as back or game-time, so, it could just end up being Marleau in for Bjugstad and the rest stays the same.

Yeah I just saw Bjugstad is out tomorrow but Dumo and Marino are GTD.

Those D pairings give me the warm and fuzzies.

Hopefully Rust feels more comfortable back on the right.

Let the March begin!

So, we are seriously going to pair the 2 worst abominations to defense as a pairing? I'd put Ruh/Riikola over that disaster any day.

Let's see what happens, as both Schultz and Johnson have shown that with less minutes, they've been able to preform at a higher level. Will need to give it 5-10 games or so to see if with less minutes and more favorable deployment the pairing is ok.

It was a disaster as a second pairing, let’s hope less minutes help them out.

If less minutes turns out to be better for them, why stop there? Just go straight to zero minutes and not only help them but the whole team as well.

Shelter their minutes and get Schultz on the top PP. Get him shooting from the point again and let him get some confidence back. If this team is going to go deep they MUST fix the PP.

I think you guys are all making a lot of great points with the team looking forward as guys come back into the lineup from being injured. I'd add that one big advantage to having Dumo and Marino back will be the increased ability to move the puck up and out of our own end. I've thought that the breakout has been absolutely horrible during this 0-6 slide. Seems like only Letang could skate the puck out.

Angello emergency recall.

Tanev supposedly took a pretty nasty spill in practice yesterday, but nothing definitive on who is out.

Sullivan says Mario and Dumouolin will play tonight. He also says he'd like to ease Dumo in with his minutes, but doesn't have that luxury.

Tanev is ill, according to Sullivan and will not play. I'm hoping Sullivan goes with these lines.

Dumoulin and Marino will play.

Murray to start in net.

Probably, but, I rather them at least go with 3 solid lines and a 4th that only gets a few minutes, then mixing Lafferty/Angello etc on the 3rd, and making the bottom 2 lines less effective.

Glad to hear Tanev is only ill, not injured. I really like him, GMJR found a good piece that fits with team. Contract a bit long, but I prefer 6yrs of Tanev to 5 of Pettersson LoL
