Documentaries regarding the Pens?

Postby pekkasteele on Sun Jan 14, 2018 7:38 am

Is there any good documentaries regarding the pens out there?

I know one that you can find on Youtube about Mario and, it is a lot about his cancer and career, it is great, and very touching, but the quality I have found is bad.

The latest, if can call it a documentary is "road to winter classics" from ... whenever, 2010? But the ending is not that good ... since we lost.

Any others?

If you like older documentaries then there’s a video on YouTube called “a portrait of courage” it’s broken down into 4 parts, and it’s about the 93 pens team. You could also try searching “against the odds” and “one from the heart” they are about the first two cup teams. Just throwing it out there for some old school pens documentary.

1988-89 Penguins team video, "There's a Team in the Building"

I had this on VHS when I was a kid and I must have watched it 20 times. I just watched a couple minutes of it now and skipped around. It's crazy how I remember the narration almost word for word.
