Doughty, OEL, Suter, and Keith?

Not one of those teams makes that trade.

To NYI for Hamonic, Okposo, Pick

I'd do it in a heartbeat

I don't think anyone was saying the teams would make that trade. I believe the original question was "Who would you rather have over Letang?"

Or, rather, one player for Letang swap. Not saying the teams would make the trades, but in a hypothetical world, those for would be players we would want to "trade" places with Letang.

Things might be simplified one day to just Letang/Martin.

if they knew how far along Maata was in the summer there is no way they would have resigned letang to the deal he got.

Letang paired with Maatta and they may be together for Wed against the Flyers Look for Maatta's plus minus to go to the negative side. Too bad kid

We are nowhere near ready to dub Maatta a Letang replacement.

It's like the Kobayashi Maru test. There is no winning outcome.

If it was realistically possible to trade Letang, I'd do this:

To Buffalo:
Letang + Jeffrey

To Pitt:
Ott + Ehrhoff + 1st round pick

Unless that's the Sabres 1st round pick in 2014, that's a terrible trade.

Oh wait, you threw in Jeffrey. That should balance things out.

I felt the sarcasm in your comment lol

This isn't a video game and the day of trading five players for one in the NHL are gone for the most part since we're dealing with a salary cap.

I think one of the Pens' biggest needs is the physical presence and Ott would really address that while bringing some more offense to the third line.

Ehrhoff is a great and cheaper alternative to Letang.

1st round pick from EDM for the 2014 draft would likely be a high pick.

Jeffrey is dead weight and deserves to play somewhere we he has a chance to play.

No votes for Dion Phaneuf??? Smart board.

I would take Ekman-Larrson straight up for Tanger. I thnk he will be that good of a defenceman.
